Objective To build a pool of like-minded organisations and individuals who believe in upholding accountability and transparency through ethical and standardised practices in the functioning of Voluntary Organisations.
Individuals and persons working in the voluntary sector can become members of FMSF.

Quarterly Journal of FMSF - “INTERface”:
FMSF brings out a quarterly journal “INTERface” which is a popular publication in FMSF constituency that brings out articles on legal and governance related aspects of Voluntary Organisations which will be available to the members. “INTERface” is otherwise a subscribed journal.
Institutional Members will receive two copies of “INTERface”.
Regular information sharing on the various programmes, workshops, consultations and other events of FMSF.

Priority Enrolment in the training courses, workshops and consultations organized by FMSF.
Annual Consultations of FMSF is normally for 2 days with meaningful discussions on the specific themes with 4 to 5 Technical Sessions wherein experts from the relevant field present papers. The last consultation was held in March 2007 on “Social Accountability of Voluntary Organisations - Tools & Practices” wherein FMSF released two of the above referred publications, Handbook on Social Audit in NGOs and Social Accountability Standards for Voluntary Organisations

E-newsletters will be sent exclusively to members on the current developments in the Voluntary Sector and on Legal Regulations.
FMSF has been regularly sharing information on the Salient Features & Analysis of the Union Budget and Finance Bill by the Central Government. These aspects will be covered in the e-newsletters for members.
