Monitoring

Financial resources are integral to any development work.  Facilitating a process by which resources reach the  implementing  organizations,  ensuring  smooth implementation  of  the  planned  activities  and complying  with  the  reporting  requirements  are major  links  in  development  cooperation.  FMSF primarily addresses this area through financial monitoring. The Monitoring function performed by FMSF includes projects supported by EED, Germany, and Bread for the World (BftW), Germany.

The process of financial monitoring at FMSF includes:

- Close interaction with partner organizations through periodical visits to field areas and regular contacts.

-  Ensuring regular submission of financial and progress reports.

-  Analysis of Financial and Progress Reports and monitoring of the progress of the project.

-   Facilitating timely and regular transfer of funds to partner organisations.

-   Developing systems/procedures to ensure timely closure of projects.
